This natural straw and pompom garland by Elsie Marley would be a nice contrast to brighter Christmas decorations this year...

She used swedish straws (a natural straw used for crafts, not for drinking) in between the pompoms, however, solid white paper drinking straws could be used instead to keep with the natural feel. Or, striped paper drinking straws in any color could be used if a brighter look was desired. Either way, it is sure to be not only a beautiful decoration, but also a fun project!
