OCTOBER PLAYLIST

House progress is coming along slowly, but surely. The walls have all been painted the perfect shade of white. And, mid-week, the carpet cleaners will be here to "make new" the fluffy cream carpet. The before and after's of the paint are beyond unreal and I can't wait to share! The cream outlets stuck out like a sore thumb with the bright white paint. So, my mom and I brought our heads together to find a solution, which I'll share as well. I held off on bringing much furniture in with the painters and carpet cleaners still working away. But, soon that will be put in place. In the meantime, I have been scrubbing out cabinets, washing dishes that have been in boxes for a few months, and raking the yard of beautiful fallen Fall leaves in prep for Winter.

MUSIC IS A NECESSARY COMPANION TO THESE PROJECTS. AND, BELOW ARE SOME OF MY CURRENT FAVORITES.

The White Buffalo "The Observatory"

Mumford & Sons "42"

Manchester Orchestra "The Maze"

Michael Kiwanuka "Cold Little Heart"

Leon Bridges "River"

Agnes Obel "September Song"

Phoebe Killdeer "The Fade Out Line"

Donnie and Joe Emerson "Baby"

Willie Nelson (feat. Paula Nelson) "Have You Ever Seen The Rain"
