WOOD SLAT DETAILS

WOOD SLATS CAN BE ADDED IN A VARIETY OF WAYS AS A MORE MODERN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL DECORATIVE MOULDING, PANELING, OR WAINSCOTING.

Natural division and interest can easily be added to an open floor plan by using wood slat room dividers - how much space you leave in between the slats controls how open the room remains. Top to bottom: Home DesigningGuggenheim Studio

If you've got stairs, particularly down to a basement, a slat wall looks great in lieu of a handrail. Top to bottom: DwellGuggenheim StudioArchinect

One of the easiest places to add wood slats is in the bedroom, particularly to create the feel of a headboard. Top to bottom: D3 Design StudioFantastic FrankNils Van Der CelenHome DesigningCarmeon Hamilton
