As Louisa navigates the steep learning curve of her new career, she is forced to confront the unresolved feelings reigniting between them.
The author has a knack for crafting flawed, goofy, and totally relatable characters. Louisa is instantly endearing, and her chemistry with Jackson feels completely authentic. Flipping between past and present worked really well to share their history.
While this sweet, immersive story is a perfect match for anyone navigating early-career stress and romance, it is just as delightful for readers looking back fondly on that chaotic chapter of life.
