Make any sandwich of your liking and wrap each in a heart-punched glassine bag tied up with red and white striped bakers twine.

paper straw snowflake

Centsational Girl put a twist on the paper straw wreath from Woman's Day and made fabulous paper straw snowflakes for adorning packages...

Supplies:
- 5 pipe cleaners
- 4 striped paper straws cut in half for a total of 8 stems
- 24 beads
- center embellishment
- striped bakers twine

Take four pipe cleaners and twist them around each other at the center to form the basic snowflake shape. Next, cut your straws to desired length, allowing about one inch on top for the bead detail. Slide them on your snowflake.

Clip two inch sections from remaining pipe cleaner and twist around the ends, then add craft beads.

To cover the twisted center, add a little embellishment ~ you can find many variations at craft stores.

Wrap package in brown kraft paper, tie with red and white striped bakers twine, and affix a paper straw snowflake to the top.

old west inspired cowboy party

Kelly Allison, of kellyallison photography, concepted, styled, and photographed this old west inspired cowboy party for her son Wyatt. Appropriate cowboy breakfast grub included sausage biscuits, cheesy gritz, donuts on a stick, trail mix, and steer head cupcakes. For the parents, cowboy coffee and cactus punch {mimosas}. Each guest received a complete cowboy get-up including mom-made riding ponies, cowboy hats, bandanas, sheriff’s badges, and mustaches. To help capture the moment, a western themed photo booth was set up for guests to use. Games and activities included a cowboy-themed coloring table, pin the mustache on the cowboy, and a cowboy boot pinata. Muslin bags were silk-screen printed with western designs for both the juice box covers, and the loot bags...
